Due to the overwhelming success of the Wissahickon Lacrosse Club, we now have separate Phone Hotlines for the girls and boys programs.

Mission: To support participation in youth lacrosse as both a positive and enjoyable learning experience, to ensure the improvement of individual skills and team concepts, and to ensure the development of sportsmanship and citizenship.

General Information

Girls Eye Protection
Eye protection is mandatory in 2008. Last year, our club ordered the Brine Concept Eyemask (cage-type) for all club players.  Sports Unlmited in the Plymouth Meeting Mall offers WissLax families a 15% discount.

Equipment & Uniforms
Players are responsible for their own equipment. They will not practice or play without all equipment (including a mouthpiece). Uniforms will be distributed at the Kick-Off Meetings.

US Lacrosse Membership
All players are required to join USLacrosse. A membership provides a magazine and insurance coverage for US Lacrosse-sanctioned activities (including WLC practices & games). Membership is also required for tournament play.

Playing Time
We want everyone to have the best experience possible. You need to attend practices to complete for your position and warrant playing time. Our top teams compete at the highest levels of youth lacrosse. Position, attitude, talent consistency, and how you make those around you play also have a lot to do with playing time for the top teams.
